This is a simple but very useful way to easily tune your oscillators on the fly. As Eurorack is a lot louder than regular audio I wanted to add a volume pot as to not cause any damage to a tuner input. I choose the Korg Pitchblack Pro as it is very slim and filled […]
This CV Mixer system is an adaptation of Ray Wilson’s design found in his Multi-Function module from the essential MFOS website. I wanted to make a modular design with minimal wiring. All pots are soldered to the PCB whilst the sockets connect to a 5 pin single row IDC. This way you can use ‘each side’ of […]
This is a basic implementation of the HMVCO1a data sheet. This dual design is on a single sided PCB with only 3 links. ( in red). The 3.5mm jack socket used is this one here. With 2 boards I claim 4 oscillators!!
When the backup battery finally failed it became a real hassle midi dumping the contents and with time it became harder and harder to boot up. I always thought the OSCar would be full of wires so I was surprised to see how tidy it was. The battery was easy to identify, check polarity before […]
This drum machine had a flat back up battery when I bought it. When i first opened the unit I found what looked like an after sales mod. With a bit of poking around I came to the conclusion that this was a clock out mod. I think it gave out a 24ppq signal. As […]
The fantastic Gameboy Genius blog showed a great way to add midi to the monotribe. I managed to add a little stripboard with the necessary components on it. Also a switch was added which shorts the square oscillator to ground. This then removes the oscillator output allowing just the signal from the audio INPUT […]
This keyboard had been kept in storage for a couple of years. Unfortunately it was stored in a way that the battery leaked all across the processor board. This shows the original battery a 3.6v Nicd. With the edge connector out the way it was clear the board had suffered greatly. Because this area […]
A cheap and easy buffered multiple. With just the first input connected you will receive 8 buffered outputs of the original. Plugging a second jack into the second input breaks the connection of the second for outputs giving you 2 x 4 buffered outputs.
Need to clock your modular to your sampler? This module allows you to take a bounce of the Silent Way clock pulses generated from its SYNC plugin and load them into your sampler. With the aids of some schmitt triggers and some buffers this module converts the outputs from your sampler into gate pulses your […]
